On December 18th, the newly renovated first Smeg Store on Viale Cappuccini in Guastalla was unveiled—a project that marks a significant chapter in the history of an iconic brand.
This achievement is the result of months of synergistic work, blending tradition and innovation to create a space that is more than just a retail location: it’s a place that tells a story and offers an experience.
Opened in 1985, the first Smeg Store was much more than a store from the very beginning. Strategically located in Guastalla, it quickly became a key destination for customers from across Italy, setting the foundation for the brand’s growth and the launch of numerous stores worldwide.
The renovation of this historic site was not just an architectural endeavor—it was an opportunity to reinforce Smeg’s connection to its roots while also looking ahead to the future.
Thanks to the collaboration with BP Architects, we gained deep insight into the client’s needs and vision, resulting in an ambitious project that brought the following transformations:

650 sqm total redesign, featuring:

300 sqm of retail space dedicated to presenting and selling appliances.

350 sqm of showroom, crafted to immerse visitors in the world of Smeg.
The goal was clear: to transform the store into a landmark not just for shopping but for a holistic, emotional experience that deeply engages the customer.
The renovation took about four months, during which our team worked closely with the architect and other professionals to deliver flawless results.
