Cefla at the forefront of the Carrefour Gourmet in Rome

A newly inaugurated sales point furnished by Cefla

The Italian capital's first “Gourmet” Carrefour Market has recently opened at 52 Piazzale Morelli, in Rome. The store has a sales area of 1600 sq.m designed by Cefla and Zenith Shop Design, a company specialised in customised furnishings that's part of the Cefla Group.

The point of sale has been completely refurbished and incorporates the French brand's new format. In fact it presents the same formula as that launched last September in Piazza Gramsci in Milan: an interior that's been carefully planned down to the finest detail and a range of products based on a selection of Italian excellences from every food sector to satisfy even the most dedicated food lovers.

Cefla has created a very complex point of sale: it is in fact a complete contract operation and it's been carried out in record time. In addition to the System25 shelving and the brand new Futura Plus checkouts, Cefla supplied, in particular, the flooring for the whole sales area, the paintwork, the fresh-food area layout, the lighting system and the shop-front.

Following on from the supermarket in Rome, another two are due to open in Ventimiglia and in Corso Colombo, Turin. Both will be fitted by Cefla with the new concept that Carrefour has been developing in Italy, differentiating the role of the supermarket in order to meet the needs of contemporary, well-informed and aware clients who appreciate specific solutions created to meet their needs.
